Dear Parents,

At the outset, let me thank you for your support and kind understanding with which we, as a nation and as a community, reciprocated to the unpredicted conditions due to COVID-19 that started in March 2020.

I am proud of the way our beloved students, studying in our prestigious schools run under the aegis of The Education Committee of the Maheshwari Samaj, Society (ECMS), parents, employees, and community leaders handled the demands we were faced with to protect everyone as we continued to educate and serve our students during the most unusual of circumstances.

The ECMS is known for its contribution in the field of education not only in the city of Jaipur but also in the State of Rajasthan. Established in the year 1936, today it is running 10 institutions under its aegis in Jaipur, each institution having its own unique features.

The ECMS has always believed, as a family, to take a step forward only after taking all the stakeholders on board as we continue with our sheer determination to serve the field of education.

The ECMS is on its mission to open another prestigious institution in order to ensure further accessibility of education to larger number of children . This letter is in pursuance of the proposal which has been taken in this regard I, wish to seek your valuable suggestions regarding the choice of the Education Board for our proposed institution. Following are the options available with us:

2. International Board [IB]

   International Baccalaureate (IB), formerly the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), is an international educational foundation headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland and founded in 1968. Examination Pattern: It offers 3 educational programs, namely

   • PYP or Primary year program for KG to Class-5
   • MYP or Middle year program for Class-6 to Class-10
   • DP or Diploma program for Class-11 and Class-12

3. IGCSE: International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) Cambridge University

   It is an academically rigorous, internationally used, specialized, English language curriculum which is offered to students to prepare them for International Baccalaureate and CIE A-level.

   Examination Pattern:
   • Cambridge Primary, typically for learners aged 5 to 11 years
   • Cambridge Secondary 1
   • Cambridge Secondary 2 is typically for learners aged 14 to 16 years. It offers learners two routes: Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge O Level.
   • Cambridge Advanced is typically for learners aged 16 to 19 years who need advanced study to prepare for university and higher education. It offers learners two routes: Cambridge International AS and A Level, and Cambridge Pre-U.

4. CISCE: Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE)

   The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Examination has been designed to provide an examination in a course of general education, in accordance with the recommendations of the New Education Policy 1986, through the medium of English. The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Examination will ensure a general education without any diversification of studies as all candidates are required to enter and sit for six subjects and Socially Useful Productive Work.

   The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Examination is a school examination and the standard of the examination pre-supposes a school course of ten years duration (Classes I-X).
